Artist in Focus: Drake

Having last toured in 2014, Canadian rapper Drake is back and gracing the UK with his headline tour The Boy Meets World next year.

Embracing his success as one of the biggest rap stars of today, the tour comes off the back of his fourth studio album, Views.

Kicking off at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro Arena on 26th January, Drake will be performing a further 12 nights throughout January and February, including Manchester Arena, Barclaycard Arena, as well as London’s O2 Arena where he will be performing an impressive six night residency.

With Drake and Rihanna being well-known for turning up together, could the Bajan singer make a special appearance for the number one selling single ‘Too Good’? Maybe Wizkid and Klya will reunite with the rapper as a trio for ‘Once Dance’.

Drake’s last UK performance was at London’s 2015 Wireless Festival where he rendered euphoric crowds with his famous hit ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’.

At Villiers, we pride ourselves on offering outstanding access to music concerts at the greatest venues throughout the UK. With tickets to Drake’s 2017 tour going on sale from Friday 14th October, make sure you get in touch to see how Villiers can secure your place.
