This weekend at the One Love Manchester concert, the victims of the attack at Manchester Arena will be honoured. A spectacular all-star line-up has been announced to perform at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground on Sunday.
The One Love Manchester concert by Ariana Grande and many others will help raise funds for the victims and relatives of the victims of the Manchester Attack.
Confirmed artists for the One Love Concert include; Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus, Pharrell Williams, Usher, Katy Perry, Niall Horan, Justin Beiber, Coldplay, Take That, Black Eyed Peas, Little Mix and Robbie Williams. The music community has gathered in full force to perform a once in a lifetime show, created by some of the biggest names in music.
After the Black-Eyed Peas tweeted an announced line up for the One Love Manchester concert, that included a rumour mill of an Oasis reunion which has gone into overdrive. Oasis has not performed since 2009, when the world-renowned, rock and roll band split. For years, fans have hoped there would be a reunion of the Gallagher brothers to once again hear the clever anthems such as Wonderwall.
But will the One Love concert see the reunion of Oasis and could an Oasis reunion tour across the UK be on the cards for 2018? At Villiers, we’ve been speculating that an Oasis reunion tour in 2018 would see them play the biggest venues that include Wembley Stadium, or even the Royal Albert Hall. The One Love Manchester concert would be the perfect place for the fantastic announcement of an Oasis reunion.
Oasis would not be the only reunion for the One Love Manchester concert, as Robbie Williams will reunite with former band Take That, much to the delight of Take That fans around the world. Take That are touring with their Wonderland Live 2017 tour, if you haven’t got tickets for the One Love Manchester concert.
Another notable performer for the One Love Manchester concert is pop icon Katy Perry, who says she is “humbled to be part of this show.” Later in June, Katy Perry will be performing at Glastonbury music festival for the first time, initially we thought Glastonbury would be the perfect opportunity to announce a Katy Perry tour in 2017/18.
But given the significance of the One Love Manchester concert perhaps she will announce tour dates as part of her performance at the Old Trafford Cricket Grounds. After her recent releases of hit songs including Chained to the Rhythm, we expect Katy Perry to perform at the Barclaycard Arena and London’s 02 Arena in 2017/18.
Next weekend, both Little Mix and Niall Horan will be performing at the Capital FM Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium on 10th June, see available hospitality here.
