Muse’s career has spanned almost 20 years, achieving mainstream success and the headline spots at heading UK festival’s such as Glastonbury (2004, 2010, 2016) and Reading & Leeds Festival (2006, 2011, 2017). Adding fuel to the fire of a Muse UK tour, Muse have announced they will headline two festivals in 2018 including Rock in Rio in Lisbon.

Three of Muse’s albums went straight to the top of the charts including The Resistance, The 2nd Law and Drones. Muse’s album Drones debuted at No.1 in the charts across 21 countries around the world. Muse is perhaps best known for their hits such as Uprising, Supermassive Black Hole and Stockholm Syndrome.

Muse are currently touring through North America and are back in the studio working on new music, a new album said to be released in 2018. Muse released Dig Down. a brand new single earlier this year which is Muse’s first new music since their album Drones in 2015. Lead singer and front man, Matt Bellamy suggested that a 2018 album may be more of a “stripped-down sound” (NME), with potential influences from hip-hop and augmented reality for their tour.

It’s expected after Muse’s North America tour is completed in 2017, Muse would announce UK tour dates to celebrate their upcoming eighth studio album. Muse’s North America tour has seen them play at a variety of large arena sized venues, and a UK tour would likely be no different. A Muse tour in 2018, would likely take them to the 02 Arena, Arena Birmingham, Manchester Arena, The SSE Hydro and 3 Arena, all of which are similar venues to Muse’s 2015 ‘Drones World Tour.’

As with all their concerts, expect theatrics, lasers and their biggest rock anthems. Watching Muse perform live never fails to impress, they put on an old fashion rock band show but with all the trimmings of the state-of-the-art production.
